I love “bringing the outside in” so any chance I get to use real veggies/plants/leaves etc for a project I’m all in! This year for my Thanksgiving table I was so excited to have an excuse to go to the local farmers market and buy radishes and carrots with the greens attached. (They are kind of like the “boots with the fur” version of the veggie world right?)
I bought a few different things to put the veggies in but I love how they looked spilling out of this straw log ring. I tried a large white bowl and a white strainer but this definitely looked the best. Don’t be afraid to use random items as a centerpiece, I always try a bunch of things to see what works best!
I left my usual white runner down and layered it with a plaid scarf, I am LOVING this table scarf trend! I ordered a few different plaids and was going to return the ones I didn’t use… but I kept them all bc they have so many different uses now right?! Blanket, scarf, table runner… I originally was going to put candles in these glass holders but ending up throwing a bunch of white mini pumpkins in them.
My everyday dishes worked perfectly with the cutest little pumpkin bowl that I got at (you would not believe where), Christmas Tree Shoppes! And for $4.99! The look very similar to ones from Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma which are much more expensive.
I had so much much fun setting up this table and hope it gives you some ideas! Are any of you guys planning a fall tablescape for Thanksgiving? I would love to hear what you have planned below!
