Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday to decorate for and now with a new babe in the house, this year is even more special! When we decorate the tree I put on my favorite Christmas movie, (Home Alone of course!), and my husband and I make hot chocolate. So naturally when Christmas Tree Shops and That! wanted to sponsor a post, a hot cocoa bar was the first thing that came to mind. This post will give you some ideas on how to style a fun hot cocoa bar perfect to entertain yourself or family and friends!
I had so much fun shopping at Christmas Tree Shops and That! for my hot cocoa bar. This is normally my go to store for most holidays anyway because you seriously can not beat their prices, everything is so reasonable. Going shopping here was actually one of my first outings without Taylor, (my husband was home watching her.) They had so much holiday decor out I circled the store 3 times and my husband actually had to call and ask where I was LOL!
They had some amazing wreaths and the one I got was SO real looking, I added this cute sign onto it.
I couldn’t believe they had these cute mugs with Christmas sayings on them, I’m such a sucker for anything with a pretty script font so I picked up 6 of them. I have four set up for guests and I used the other two to hold the hot chocolate packets, mint and plain. When styling a bar cart make sure to add different levels, I put the mugs on this cake stand and then used this tiered tray on the bottom.
I placed a square dish on the top level for the toppings. Gold cupcake wrappers made the perfect little cup for the marshmallows and the striped candy wrappers were perfect for smaller treats, so I put some crushed up Andes mints in those. I bought a pack of plain glass salt and pepper shakers and filled them with chocolate powder and red sugar sprinkles.
Add some cozy elements to make the bar even more inviting like a fuzzy blanket or this cute pillow. (Isn’t this sign perfect!)
And you can’t have a hot cocoa bar without candy canes! They are the perfect mixer and look so adorable in this Santa mug.
Christmas Tree Shops and That! had a serious selection of mini trees, I picked up this one that already had these cute red balls on it. It was wrapped in burlap but I wrapped this plaid napkin over it to change the look. Napkins are the perfect size for mini trees.
Thank you so much to Christmas Tree Shops and That! for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.
