I loved my fall tablescape from last year and while I am still finishing up this years I still wanted to share one with you! Planning to style my table usually starts with opening up all cabinets and closets and seeing what I already have. There is no need to keep going out and buying things when you can easily use items you already have in different ways. Don’t get me wrong though, if I am out in Homegoods and see a piece that I love, then of course I will bring that baby home and use it too!
This tablescape started with pumpkins, (OK maybe they all do..) I bought these to make a topiary on my front porch but they were too pretty to leave outside so in they came. I usually leave a white runner on my table so I left it on and added this blue and white striped paper ( yes paper!) runner on top of the white one. I put the middle orange pumpkin in the center and on each side leaned the two green pumpkins next to it. I have a serious issue with needing things symmetrical at all times so everything is usually pretty even.
Once the pumpkins were all set I went through my candles and grabbed some that I had from my Christmas party and added them to the table. While searching for other things to use I found some faux dusty miller that added some greenery to the table. Also, I did pick up the artichokes while food shopping solely for this, my husband and I don’t really like the taste of them so we just enjoyed how they looked =)
For the place settings I layered a round sea grass place mat, Dollar Tree gold plastic charger, my white everyday dishes and plaid dishes to add a fun pattern to the table. Then topped off the pile with a cute little white pumpkin!
Hope this helps inspire you guys for a super easy fall tablescape! Make sure you are subscribed to the blog for an update on this years!
